Looks like she should be in a Mark Ryden painting

One super compliment on Flickr.com!

PIG CREATION OF STEPHAN HITS BULL’S EYE

By Arie Pieters

NIEUW-BEIJERLAND Charles Stephan, the pig artist that lives in Nieuw Beijerland, has launched in cooperation with Elf Doll Inc, Korea, a new pig creation designed by him: a unique Asian Ball Jointed Doll (tiny). A ball jointed doll is relatively new in the Netherlands, started in Japan and is very popular in Asia and in the US.

The doll is sculpted by the skilful hands of the BJD master Rainman, Elfdoll artist.
This beautiful little creature is called Alice Cherry Blossom and is a high end collectors item for pig and doll collectors but will also appeal to animal-, Gothic- and Fantasy lovers. Her name derives from Alice in Wonderland (pig baby) blended with the frail pink white leaves of the Japanese Cherry blossom tree.

She has a pale cherry pink white skin and expressive little face. Her size is Tiny, with her mere 13 cm she fits right in your hand. Alice Cherry Blossom will no doubt soon conquer the world of dolls with her somewhat sad face but with a sunny character. She likes to dress up Victorian, Gothic Lolita style and costume play. A warm welcome to this new and magical little piglet.

Last Saturday 1st of September ’07 Alice Cherry Blossom was released via www.elfdoll.com .
Despite of the quite expensive amount of $290.00 for each doll all units were sold out within a few hours!

The interest for this doll even lead at one point to exceeding the internet traffic limit and the site was momentarily jammed. New plans have been made between Elfdoll Inc and Charles Stephan, pig artist, for a second special ‘limited edition’
